What does an Isagenix diet look like?

The Isagenix diet looks like, and is, a new beginning for many people. Not only does it provide the best foundation for weight loss, but it can transform your body by providing it with essential vitamins and minerals while you experience weight loss.

Our diets run for between nine and 30 days. The goal is to consume fewer calories, all the while ensuring your body doesn’t miss out on anything during the process. Essentially, you will be getting more energy, even with fewer calories. This enables your body to burn fat faster.

It’s important to note that while this diet is beneficial to kickstart your health and wellness journey, it’s not a long-term programme. It’s merely a way to kickstart your journey, which can be supplemented in the long-term by other Isagenix products. The reason for this is that Isagenix nine to 30-day programmes allow for fast weight loss which prepares your body for a lifetime of health. They are for beginners to dieting and give you feelings of health to enable you to carry on and really give your body a chance of being completely transformed.

We recommend using a 30-day Isagenix cleanse or weight loss pack to maintain your nutrition and lose weight, before selecting individual products to ensure you don’t run out of fat to use as energy. Remember, a low-calorie diet is only sustainable while there’s fat to burn.

How is the Isagenix cleanse diet structured?

What should I eat?

During your pre-cleanse and shake days, it’s essential that you consume a wholesome, hearty and nutritious meal to help you on your weight loss journey. It is recommended that your meal is between 400 and 600 calories, but for some people, it can be hard to know what you should eat. After all, can’t a piece of chocolate cake count as a 400 to 600 calorie meal? While it may be tempting, we’ve got some great ideas for meals that will help your body feel healthy and nourished.

Plenty of protein:

Instead of reaching for that big greasy burger, we recommend eating high-quality protein sources such as chicken, salmon, grass-fed beef or turkey. Anything that’s a plant or animal-based protein source can help satiate your hunger while being beneficial for weight loss.

Fat:

Not all fat is bad fat. In fact, we recommend consuming moderate amounts of monounsaturated fats such as fatty fish, avocado, seeds, nuts, and legumes. These fatty acids are different to what your fish and chips are friedin. It’s also effortless to add avocado, nuts, and seeds to a diet. You can add them to a salad, or opt for avocado on wholegrain toast. The options are endless!

Carbs

You may feel like you’re spending your entire time avoiding carbs, but as long as you choose the right carbs, they’re going to benefit your health. It’s always best to pick vegetables, beans, and wholegrains, as well as good starches. This means you can choose from Kumara (sweet potato), regular potatoes, oatmeal, bean salads, and leafy greens. In essence, your body isn’t missing out on anything. You can have a delicious piece of fish, some tasty cubed sweet potato, and a hearty bowl of vegetables. It’s a regular, nutritious, delicious meal!

Micro-nutrients

While our Isagenix products are full of vitamins and nutrients, we recommend ensuring you eat as many leafy greens and coloured vegetables as possible. Not only do they liven up a plate, but they are also tasty and enhance any dish you create. They give your body the mix of nutrients it requires while supporting your health and fat loss at the same time.

We also recommended filling half of your plate with two or three cups of fruit and vegetables. These can include apples, oranges, berries, broccoli, spinach, kale, and mixed green salad with tomatoes, carrots, and capsicum, just to name a few.
